"The biggest key is leaning on each other," Drunsic said. Pinkerton jumped out to an 4-1 lead early in the second quarter, but Exeter ended the game on a 9-2 run. "We're not afraid to push the ball. So, I make sure to help them the best I can, and make sure to coordinate this offense that it flows smoothly and everyone gets it looks."īrewster said Drunsic is like having another coach on the field. "I take pride in helping these younger guys step up," Drunsic said. Everyone is getting involved, it's fun lacrosse."ĭrunsic, who is looked at as one of the leaders on the team, knows how important his leadership is, especially when it comes to making sure players are in the right spot. "Those are the guys making key passes to feed freshman for goals, or feed sophomores for goals. "They're very good at getting through one layer and finding somebody else on the next side," Brewster said of the duo.
